Word and World is a young, low-budget, grassroots collaborative. Over the past four years we have been able to organize four successful peoples’ schools, because the organizers and faculty gave generously of their time and energy, and we received personal financial resources from people who connected with this vision and work. If your Spirit resonates with what you’ve seen in the content of this website, we invite your partnership in continuing this work. Giving, of your attention and resources, is first and foremost, an act of participation. Responding to the call to participate is the individual and corporate responsibility of all of God’s children. We are thankful to have your company in the vocation of social transformation. Some of the ways you can participate in the Word and World vision include supporting us with: Please pray for the staff, organizers, faculty and participants in Word and World schools. Please consider a financial donation, or tithe, to defray expenses. Financial contributions are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged with a receipt. Hundreds of individual donors have enabled Word and World to grow through their thoughtful and generous giving. We invite you into a deeper relationship with this work through participating as a donor. Checks payable to Word and World can be sent to our Greensboro NC office: PO Box 1623, Greensboro, NC 27402 Please consider a contribution to our scholarship fund; one-third of participants receive scholarships so that financial status will not be a barrier to attending a school. Our programs emphasize diversity of race, gender, sexuality, age, and geographical background – to carry this intention out it is essential that we have the special resources to include everyone. Please spread the good news about Word and World among your friends, colleagues, and community. We are also able to accommodate arranged interviews for articles or stories about Word and World.
