A Word and World East Coast
Women’s Discipleship
Mentoring Circle
June 17-19, 2005
St. Francis Prayer Center
Stoneville, North Carolina
led by Liz McAlister & Joyce Johnson
There are too few venues where women can come together to talk about discipleship and life journeys. This retreat was designed for younger Word and World alumnae where women were mentored by elders in the faith. Through Bible study, storytelling, conversation and prayer we “listened to a deeper way.”

I am listening to a deeper way. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and Listen. You are the result of the love of thousands.
